Nonostante l'inizio dell'adattamento animato del manga di Yūki Tabata, Black Clover, sia risultato abbastanza approssimativo e abbia perso alcuni spettatori, chi ha resistito fino al recente episodio 93 sa di aver fatto la scelta giusta.

La storia dell'anime si è fatta nel tempo sempre più intricata, l'anime ha continuato a sperimentare soprattutto nei combattimenti, dando vita a scene in grado di sorprendere. L'ultimo episodio, il numero 93, ha visto la partecipazione di Tatsuhiro Ariyoshi, un talentuoso animatore che si è occupato di alcuni disegni.

Questa collaborazione ha portato ad una delle scene di combattimento più incredibili che la serie abbia mostrato fino ad oggi e che ha reso giustizia ad uno dei momenti più importanti della serie, anche grazie ad un ottima regia delle sequenze. Inoltre l'episodio segna un grande cambiamento per la serie, che si dirige verso uno degli archi narrativi più intensi.
